Small app: Apophysis
Been playing with this program lately. Some of you might know it, Apophysis

Kinda cool. It takes some tweaking, but definitely some fun to be had for abstract/fractal bg stuff.

It's a fractal flame program. It algorithmically generates images and animations.

If you're unsure of what a fractal flame program is, here is a wiki on that.

usman, I'm not sure what you mean by, Apophysis lacks variety? Could you clarify?
