Finalized Template
This may seem the same (most of it is) but this is a more "filled" version of it, and since I only ave 2 more days to work on the website, I've decided to just go with this one. Besides I've showed it to the Region Judges and they siad if I turned that in I probably would have gotten 1st.
Anyway:
Also, don't even start with the teen or business crap, if real business people don't care, you shouldn't either.
Edit: The March of Dimes Ad is a fake, I made it myself.

I'm just trying to say, if this was to be used on a real site targeting big businesses, they would get turned off. So the business people would care, they would probably leave right away.
Make the content area bigger.

K.
Just to prove my point, do you see any big businesses with a bunch of graphical stuff like yours? They're mostly all tables with a nice header. Like Microsoft and McAfee and all those big sites.
Just remember my advice for the future, you may regret it now, but it'll help later on...

I like it. I think it looks good. I do however do agree with some points made by Pimpen2010. I do think you should make that box in the center a little larger. These seems to be too much unused space in the areas around it. If you were going to put other things there, then it will fill out nicely. Also you will probably not like what I have to say next. I do not want to start anything but I just want to say that your attitude towards Pimpen seems a little harsh. I mean you are posting your work on this sight for feedback. That is what we are giving you. Even though it might not be all what you want to hear it is only to make you better. They are only opinions. I just hope the attitude does not get in the way of your success. You do have talent. The only reason I am saying this is because I knew this kid in myclasses in college and he was sooo good at drawing comic books. He probably would have gotten hired my Marvel comics in a second. But when we would comment on his work and he didn't like what we had to say he would flip out. I mean he went ape shit. I didn't think that was a very professional attitude, and I really think that would hurt his chances of getting a job. Not everyone has to like what you do. I learned that from posting my work on another website. Everyone said my logo sucks so I made another one. The second one I made turned out to be 100 X better. So I am greatful for that feedback. Now don't be mad at me. I just thought I would say that. I was not being mean or nasty I just wanted to give a few words of advice

We have history on this forums, take a look back at all the designs I've posted, he hasn't exactly had alot of positive things to say about any of them. And about that box, thats a news page exlcusive , the rest of the pages have pretty normal tables where the info is held.

I agree with the little pimp meister. It really doesn't look formal to me. There's just way to much empty space and what i feel are..i don't know just could be better more utilitarian and more interesting color scheme...People like pastels!! eh, just my opinion.

Ok, I am just going by this post. I din't read the other ones. I just signed up on this forum so... But I don't want you to thing I was being mean. I just thing it is such a shame for talented people to have terrible attitudes that can ruin their success. I am not saying you ARE like that, It was my interpretation from this post, that's all. But ok. about the box, I understand. I didn't really understand what you were doing when I looked at the post. But it does look good though. I like it. Keep up the good work... Post more of your work.. I would like to see other pieces.

Hey leon, not to be rude or anything as I know from the full version that it's just my eyes playing tricks on me... but that banner (in the thumbnail version) looks like a porn ad... man I was thrown off there for a second...
Overall I think it looks nice, you know what your trying to achieve better than anyone else...

Yeah I think the overall design isn't very convoluted. It's metaphor is mixed. It wouldn't impress me overly.
Things to look at in the future:
More thoughful color scheme.
More analytical process of design (content space) etc.
More research into typography.
Understand the difference between copyrights and trademarks before willy nilly slapping them about.
It's very small and condensed.
Consider some form of Identity (logo).
The guy in the photo looks clichéd.
Consider a spell checker.
Things i like are the blend idea on the header. Nice orb hidden behind a barcode?
It's not a bad site though, needs some tweeking maybe. Good job!

I don't know...
I like it... I can't really see too much bad with it but.. I do agree with the attitude thing mentioned. That can really hurt you, and hold you back...
I think if you can learn to just buckle down and suck up somehow, the reviews that you consider quite harsh, then I think they can actually start to help you, but you need to find some method of restraining yourself from lashing out during the reviews, at least so as to avoid any negative influence on the reviewers by you, during them ...
heck I don't know about anyone else but, that's what I have to do... and I must admit, I'm not always successful at it either,,, but I do try like hell to buckle down when my thread is active, otherwise, I gain little else than a few shots of useless satisfaction and maybe a few lost would-be reviewers that actually could have been good ones to learn from had I not turned them away... and I know damn well I've turned willing reviewers into unwilling reviewers... just because I let my pride get in my way.

looks nice and cool but a business site shouldnt have that much graphic. Most of the business sites has been build with theories of minilamism, and Web Usability.
But still it looks good for a site.
