WebSite Design for client

This is one of my latest designs, so far it is only the basis for the site. It is for a local school in my area. I would appreciate any tips on it, for what I have now, or the later development. I may change it around a bit once I have the pictures of the school.

I will probably put it into html tomorrow.

The events button is highlighted to show what it will look like on mouseover.

OMG that is the worst color you coulda choose for a web site!!! Too much of it first off, second just not a good color!!!

Not my choice of a colour.

The school colours are yellow and grey.

Then have VERY LITTLE of that yellow and make it grey.

I think you did a good job making the colors work. That was my main problem with http://www.Harbour-Online.com they gave me the colors and said make it look good. LOL that is hard to do, but you did a good job.

Some colours are very hard to do right but if you can get them to work then they can sometimes produce very nice results. btw I think you did a very nice job on Harbour Online.

Pimp I'd rather not make it grey, grey is so boring, plus the main school colour is yellow.

I am probably going to do another design or two for this as well so they can tell me what they like best.

looks good (if it MUST be yellow)...

Yellow and grey... hmmm... wierd colors for a school.
how about a white site, something that is just real crisp white with yellow and grey accents?

if you have to go with yellow... I say you are doing a fine job.

Im not a fan of that at all. Eductational sites should have a level of conformity, you can't go wrong with white.
