Auto Saving?
Is there a way to make adobe illustrator auto save as you are working on you designs?

There are a few 'macro-type' shareware programs that will save for you. Conceptually, it's just an app that runs in the background and macro's out the save keys at set intervals, in the case of Photoshop, it types ctrl-s. That's about as close as you can get to an auto-save feature I'm afraid.

A Google search will net you some results.

This auto-saving feature should be added in the latest version of photoshop and illustrator.. it will really help alot.

version cue is pretty handy, doesn't auto save but is a pretty good file handler (back ups etc)
