72dpi vs 90dpi

I was wondering if anyone has experience or info to share regarding the use of 90dpi web graphics versus 72dpi.

I've been some googling but I'm not comming up with much.

Do you think this will make that much of a difference in the final product? I haven't done any test, yet. I thought I'd ask around first.

It really doesn't matter in fact - it's only the pixel size which counts for the images that will be used for the web.
A 100x100 GIF image will look the same, no matter what its resolution is.

This value (72/90/96dpi) only defines how big will the physical size (in/cm) of such an image be on a particular monitor.
