Logo
ok guys, just ordered a new site for what will become my design site again. One of the first things i always do is start off with designing a logo and then build the site around that. so i've been working on that for 2 or 3 hours and came up with the first version here. what do you guys think.

not a big fan of the design...for starters - you should definitely spend more time on research and color scheme. that blue is over used and the fonts don't go well together. i like the idea of the arch, but i think you need to take it farther instead of the intertwining of the arch and "hill". the font you used for "style" just doesn't fit the type of service you provide. it depicts a more formal yet playful element. i don't think that fits web design at all.

it's not hard, you just make an oval, and then cut out a piece of it with the eliptialal marquee tool, and then add a drop shadow

fireworks is great for professional logos. aside from that i hate the program.
Then again i tend to go for the clean more clear cut logos, this one honestly bothers be some because of the drop shadow, but it didn't look right without it.
I might run fireworks later to night to see if i can't come up with anything over there. i have a few spinn off ideas of this, i am mostly just trying to decide on some general feel to the site.
