BPH Splash
I've been working on a very heavy image layout for the next version of my website (I've been working on it in photoshop for the past week). Along with the image heavy version I'm going to have a text friendly version (for the people on dialup).
There will be a splash screen for people to choose which version to load up. How's it look? (Imagine it in the center of a black page).

The shape on the first one is more appealing to me.... I think it's that 50's linoleum look, and the translucence adds a pretty unique touch. A thin border defining the outer edges of the blur may dress it up nicely, not sure though... would have to actually see it. The font isn't great though.
The sencond one is ok I suppose, but the image is a bit on the boring side, to me. The font isn't too bad though.
