Does anyone know of a program I can use to create my own desktop icons... ( for free to btw) Thanks

You can use Photoshop - Illustrator or CorelDraw all are very good....

Somehow, I don't think that they are free

Don't know of any free ones but decent sharewares are about $29 though.

Here is a link to the gimp. Its a freeware image editing and creation program.
It has the capabilties of saving pictures as the .ico extension, the format windows uses for its icons.
I use it alot... In the right hands it can be a really good image creating tool... And its free!
