Does anyone here use GIMP?

I have Photoshop and Paintshop Pro, but recently discovered GIMP. I only use GIMP to help members on our site who can't afford a program, but would like to make signatures or scrapbook pages. I would love any tutorials or links to lessons in GIMP.

I've used it a few times. I use to have a linux system and would use it on it. I've had to use it a few times to edit pictures when I didn't have access to photoshop. I honestly hate the windows version, the mac and linux versions are far more advanced.

as far as tutorials go, they have some on their website, http://www.gimp.org/tutorials/
I do not know of any others though

Thanks. I have never used a Mac computer before. So I really only know what the Windows version looks like. I will check out the tutorials. I am trying to figure out a better way to use their curve bend filter so the lines aren't all jagged.

I'd say it's the best free option, but overall photoshop still wins. If you don't want to dish out the bones for PS, GIMP is the way to go
