Honestly, none of the logos are there yet. They don't even measure up to your own V7N web design portfolio. I'd say, go in a COMPLETELY different direction. Get outside the box and ditch the green planet and red squiggly arrow. Grab a logo book from Barnes and Noble and study some of those to spark some ideas. Some things that may spark your creativity: What are some logos you all like? Print them out and put them up on the wall... What theme? What message? What elements do you want in the design?

When I first came to V7N, one of the things I immediately liked was the graphic design. The colors of the forum are great, and inviting. Those things have subliminal influences on people. This might sound odd, but even a larger version (or derivation) of your favicon might not make a bad logo. Either way, try at least 3 COMPLETELY different directions. At the very least, the exercise of trying 3 different directions should spark something you like.
