Please pardon my enthusiasm. I just bought a new program and I kinda went crazy here. I attempted to elaborate on the current logo.

Nice ones do-over.
I think #3 is my fav. The arrow is muted but it works well.

I'm a fan, do-over.
I'd just make the cursive letters touch since it is cursive, after all Think it will make it look that much better, imo

I like 1 and 5, though I'd still really like to see the globe cleaned up somewhat.

Thanks so much, John, 3ncryptabl3_lick, Brian & Chicgeek! I'll have some more time tomorrow to mess around with the designs - hopefully some improvements will be made.

You are so right!! D'oh! Thank you for pointing that out! Now, if only I can fix it without screwing it up!

Any tips on making the globe a bit smoother looking? I've tried a couple things - which haven't worked. (as you can see lol)
Thanks again!

Maybe use a simplified version of the actual landmasses of the earth? Just an idea.

Thank you, sizzler_chetan. I hope my designs will look better tomorrow. I have some doing-over to do.
Chicgeek - Thank you for the links. What's great is: the top link you gave me, not only took me to the globe-making tutorial, but there is also a download of a map shape for CS2! Woo - I'm going to attempt to make my own map. *Attempt* I don't think I can swing that "glassy" look yet. I'll leave that to the pros.
There are so many good designs previously posted by others. I'll try not to hog or clog this thread.

Naw, I was looking at shapes, not effects. But I'm glad you sleuthed some helpful files.

A bit nice competition going on between godzi and do-over Great entries by both... expecting still better work from both.

Nice work! I think this is going in the right direction - it's consistent with the various brand elements of v7n and it is clean. My first choice would be #1 as I don't think the arrow adds anything, but if it's necessary, #3 is a good treatment. Bravo!

Wow, thanks so much everyone!
Godzi - I really like your submissions, too.
I took chicgeek's and Brian's advice, and I think some improvements have been made. I'll post them up soon.
