As for the updates, I am a fan of the block colours (ie like http://www.v7n.com/forums/attachment...o-header-4.jpg) but I know I'm almost alone on that fact.

Jesse Vlasveld - adding in buttons is a great idea, but I don't really know where to put them. I'll give it a try.

I added some buttons and stuff, but I think the logo itself needs to be smaller. Not sure if I like the shadow on the second design, though. I don't really like mixing 2D with 3D. I prefer one or the other - then go all the way with it. It could be just my personal preference.

I don't know if John has decided if he does or does not want a new logo. I sort of thought this was just a brainstorming kinda thread.

I think the original v7 logo is cool - and most likely very familiar to the online world. If he went ahead and changed logos, I'm sure it would be a ton of work to re-do all of his ads and things which have the old logo on them.
