I sincerely appreciate constructive criticism - I learn from it! I've gotten a lot of great ideas from the nice people in this thread. For a NON-Pro like me, I'm happy to learn from those who have decades more experience than I do. That's why forums like these exist - so, people like me can suck the knowledge out of their brains. Truthfully, thePro didn't burst my bubble at all - not even a little bit. I was just more surprised by such a rash remark.

I don't think I strayed too far from the original concept. Well - I made the arrow and globe larger. But, I swear it wasn't because I felt their current size was inadequate in any way.

I really like the one you designed, btw. It's so cool - great 3d effects! I especially like how the arrow seems to wrap around the sphere.
