Is Resolution

Hi!
I am new in graphics design ( I use PSP 9) and I would like to know next:
1- What is the screen resolution on your computer when you design images for web?
2- What is the best image resolution for images for web (72 p/inch or...) ?
3- How many colors are on your monitor (16 bit, 24 bit...)??
4- Any good tutorial and/or book on Paint Shop Pro 9?

I would like to make images for web.
Thank you!
Toni

2/ 72 is the standard but I hear some people go as high as 90 for making web graphics.

3/ The color depth im using is 32bit, anyone doing graphics would have it set to 32bit.

4/ Sorry I dont use psp.

1. I have 1600x1200 as well.
2. For Internet you can go with 72 or 96 DPI and for print 300 or 600 DPI.
3. 32bit, definitely.
4. Good tutorials? There are hundreds of web sites out there. Search in Google what you want to design, I am sure you will find a tutorial on that.

I am new in graphics design ( I use PSP 9) and I would like to know next:
1- What is the screen resolution on your computer when you design images for web?

Main monitor - 1280 x 1024
Second monitor - 1024 x 768

2- What is the best image resolution for images for web (72 p/inch or...) ?

I optimize with Adobe to 40 quality

3- How many colors are on your monitor (16 bit, 24 bit...)??

32bit

4- Any good tutorial and/or book on Paint Shop Pro 9?

Is there a reason you are using PsP instead of using Adobe Photoshop?
