Is Flash difficult to learn?

Flash imho can be quite difficult for a beginner. If you are not familiar with graphic programs (assuming this because you don't know how to make an animated gif) you will have a tough time getting started. I recommend you outsource this one. What you can do is offer X dollars for the work to whomever does it best or first in forums like this or SP. You wil get the job done fast and with no headaches.

Simple flash animation is easy to learn but if you want to make something professional like eye4u.de, then you have to spend a lot of time for learning flash.

Its cheaper than Flash, significantly liter and easier to use. It is much more basic but it is not bad if you only want to do something simple.

I use quite a lot because it is much quicker to produce simple banners a the like, it does produce .swf files.
