Needs Cleaning
This image is what my client sent me to use for the site, but it looks horrible... is there any chance of saving this image? Especially the graininess?

the U is easy to save, trace around it with a path tool or something in photoshop, and then fill it white again.

The text, if you have the right font, can be typed and stretched to fit over the top.

if it has to have the exact same photos in the background I would say, no.

if you can use the info davey gave you and clean the text (which shouldn't be hard to do) and then "replace" the photos with new high res ones... you would be better off.
