Fake a Tatoo?
How would you guys go about creating the illusion of a fake tatoo on someone's body in photoshop?

Make the desired logo plain on a seperate image, put it as a new layer on the person's image...
use the distort tool to lay it 'flat' to the person's skin,
lower the opacity a bit of the tattoo layer if you want it to look a year or two old
then roughen it up a little with a couple of filters

I did an Add Noise filter... (monochrome
then changed the opacity to like 30% ?
and I use edit >> transform >> distort and pulled it to the right shape
I also did an inner glow in the blending options of the tattoo layer and set it to the same color as the skin

you should change the layer type as well...
normally that's about all I do.
see the examples below.

usually a blending option will work fine, like color burn or overlay. which one did you use juggo?

a little of all... sometimes I duplacate the layer and do two at once to get the effect I am looking for. Just depends on the colors involved and the skin tone it's going on.

great work.
Do the filters make it look like it's wrapped around the skin? or what? Can you write up something really quick on how to do that Juggo?
