My new avatar was photoshopped to give Leonardo the golden glow! I used eye-candy 3.0.

ULEAD huh? Any and all graphic softwares are welcome to this discussion. I've always believed that it's the person using the software that really makes a program of any good use. What they can develop, and if others like it is all that matters -imo.

Up until three years ago I was a big fan of PaintShop Pro. Back then, I felt photoshop was not as user friendly as PaintShop Pro, and I felt more comfortable with Paint Shop Pro (probably because I got used to it and I barely used photoshop, I was a total noob)
Now I work with Photoshop a lot. I don't even remember much about Paint Shop Pro. If my friends ask me for a recommendation, I recommend them to get a demo for Photoshop.

Thanks, Mr. Kdog.
I have a challenge for you..
take a digital photo of a black haired person and make them a blond by manipulating the color of the hair only. Use any graphics program you wish. Good luck, should you choose to accept this challenge.

To be more precise; you may not manipulate the hair itself, only it's color.

I think I've done this before. I just can't remember exactly what I did. I think I took some masking tool and covered the hair in something that looked reddish. Then I think I adjusted the hue or something. I'll have to hop on my XP to get to PhotoShop. I do most my musical works on my Win98.

I tried changing the hair color on this one from black to a purplish color. I also decided to make her eyes blue. It came out alright -I think.
Before and after.
