Photoshop... what else?

I do all my image editing in notpad++ .... *Narf

I use photoshop.. or fireworks (quite a while ago) and illustrator for vectors... naturally.

I agree photoshop is the best and the main reason is all of the tutorials available on the web. I went from not knowing anything to becoming pretty good with photoshop.

Photoshop is the best Graphic Design Tool on the internet today so i won't recommend anything else.

For high complex designs with multiple layers Photoshop is better and for novice users PSP is good because its quite easy to use compared to PS.

Photoshop is the best for me, thoug I'm still using CS2 have installed CS3 but not yet tried =)

I've never used paint shop pro, but photoshop definitely gets the job done it its a little confusing to learn but after you get the basics down its pretty easy to understand

It's probably a little easier to get into Paint Shop Pro, however Photoshop is more powerful.. and not too much harder to use.

Of course, Paint Shop Pro is much cheaper. Depends on your budget too.
