Maybe the comment under review was no big deal, but it's like software, we all have our preferences. I think, maybe, this is a forum that I should visit and read but not post in -- but it seems like a nice forum overall.

Yeah, just have another look, I had to do some editing.
Not post in? Horsehockey!

Atom,
OK, I found it. Of course, evaluation gets very subjective. I like the technique -- that's good. I am very distracted by all the make-up the woman has on, which makes it harder to evaluate the image. However, personally, I would never have a need for this level of technique. So objective does come into play.

I see, makes sense.
You might check out Wade's site if you've got a sec, the image may be in a higher resolution.

No, I'd like to wrap up my posting in this forum now. However, I never intended on posting any work I do here. This is a forum of mixed company, and I am involved in matters that are considered hotly controversial in such environments. But that's how publishing goes... But as I said, I am not talented in graphics. Maybe, I'll improve one day, if time permits.

PS is expensive. I bought SPP for $10 off e-bay, and then I used the tutorials from Video Professor on PS to learn SPP, they were that similar. Then, it turned out I just liked SPP, except I do like some filters in PS.

Well do you agree that this is the graphic design forum? And mind you, I will quote what it says here:

Am I not entitled to my own opinion of why some may at first be timid about sharing copyrighted works to compare, contrast and for others to learn from? To clarify for you, my remark was made in an attempt for others to share. But of course they have the right not to do so. They could as very well create their own threads and share there if they wished.
I wonder if you have been reading this thread?
RE: http://www.v7n.com/forums/graphic-de...tml#post974542
Here you would have found that the subject shifted to a challenge to people here to share sample works from both Photoshop and Paint Shop Pro. Or from any other programs for that matter. But your remark shows that you have not. You also stated that you're not much into creating graphics but are a publisher of controversial articles -funny that you would have not read this.
Found here: http://www.v7n.com/forums/graphic-de...ml#post1003527
If you would have read this thread, then your reply to me possibly would have been better unsaid. Or perhaps degrees of masters or doctorals in psychology would have been needed to discern the true intentions of my last post -Sir.

Krahmaan,
Your explanation on your right to insult me is actually a lot of immature rationalizing. If you want to believe it, that's your choice. I'm not convinced.

Looks like you're still taking my words in a negative tone. But that is your choice. Just before you say more, just remember you don't know me or my intentions. And you're trying to turn a graphics forum into politics. So I've posted the facts and they will remain.
Maybe you should rethink your assumptions about someone you know little about -friend.

Generally, I don't deal with graphics. I used both applications, both are great for graphics professionals. But somehow I like Paint Shop Pro more. I am not able to tell the exact reason. But I like it more than Photoshop and found myself more comfortable with it.

Close Atom,
But that was actually the simple 'custom shape tool'. I used the saint's emblem and flipped it upside down and warped it a little. Then added a custom gradient style for the fill and another gradient for the background. "Enter into the promise land." hehe.

PS, hands down. Once you get past the learning curve, you'll be a happy camper.

I have NO idea why I didn't see the SEVEN pages after the first one in this thread! You've obviously chosen and are well past the "learning curve". Sorry about that!
Atom: Your graphics are great! Very impressive!
