Hi everyone

How can I create rounded banners with photoshop?

You can use the 'Custome Shape Tool'.

You can either click the button and hold the click until you see the dropdown selection box and then selected 'Rounded Rectangle Tool'.

or

Click the button and in the top tool bar, you see several selections to choose from, one of them will be the 'Rounded Rectangle Tool', select that then draw your box.

If you want to change the 'Radius' of the round, when you select the 'Rounded Rectangle Box' tool, a new field will open in the top tool bar called 'Radius' and you will be able to change the value of the default radius to what you want.

Oh and assuming you're using Photoshop.

Adding to what 3ncryptabl3_lick posted, dont forget to rasterise the shape and when your done makong the banner, save it as a .gif file.

ps. when saving the gif, add a matte a similar colour as the background to give it a smoother look. Ask if you need a more detailed post!
