Advice on printed brochure.
This is the inside of a three page fold-in brochure.
100,000 + will be printed so your suggestions will have impact on the world!
This isn't the final version, but you know how it gets sometimes when your continually working on something. Designers block . . .
Any suggestions?

That will be expensive to print... but I think it looks good... I assume there's going to be more info on it, though, right?

on the front page, move the 3 where the 5 is, the 4 where the 3 is and the 5 where the 4 is..... i know you are going for circular but it looks off. looks like you can not count right or something.
what does the back side of it look like though? if you are going to fold this you will have to have another side to the thing

Seems to be too many color schemes going on and I don't like the multiple hands everwhere on the inside. Needs simplifying a bit.

I would keep the hands on the first flap, but just keep the black number circles on the other two flaps. Everything else, I like.

i'd get rid of the numbers or the hands ... your choice ... but using both is redundant. people can count fingers so you don't need the numbers.
i don't mind the color scheme, but you should unify the elements from the cover to the inside. i.e. you have a rectangular cover and organic elements on the inside, that doesn't work. more specifically, the rectangles at the top of the cover aren't consistent with the waves at the top of the inside sections.
my 2 cents ...

it says 5 steps, then states only teo real steps... that's the only thing that bugs me.
Why subscribe, might be better as just "Subscribe"
What you get, as "Receive"
How you profit, as "Profit"
The other two seem right.
that makes it sound like stuff to do, instead of questions to answer... more like the "5 steps" would emply.

new fonts?
The font choices are a little boring, I'd pick a nice serif for the larger type and a sans serif for the small print.
Sucks when Joe Client hires you for graphic design, then proceeds to tell you how to do it. It's like hiring a plumber, then looking over his shoulder and telling him what to do. For some reason, people think design is something you can learn through watching tv and reading magazines.

I couldn't agree more. This has to be the most annoying thing that clients do.

That's part of the design business... having a client tell you what they want in detail, then you providing what they want and more (alot of time they have the idea, and don't have the skill to produce it... that's all they really want from a designer)
as far as compairing it to a plumber and telling him what to do... that is what it's like and it is what needs to be done. Otherwise some creative plumber will put a toilet in the living room because he thought it would be more convenient for you.
My point is that it's a fine line, but you really do need the client telling you what they want, and the more they know about what they want the better... and if they are too pushy about something that looks really bad... so what, they are the ones that have to live with it, and they are the ones that are happy to pay in the end.

on the latest one, didn't you notice the stock image site's watermark?
Makes it about 1% as professional with that there.

you buy the image after it's approved from the client... otherwise you spent money on images that they don't like.

I agree, and it's not that I don't want/need the client's input; It's just discouraging to spend all that time learning design/software and not really being able to excercise it properly. Guess that's why I have my own sites to play with though.

I know how you feel... I get tired of "drawing someone else's pictures". I love what I do, but it's a weird business to be in.

So i got the printed version back today.
I'm really happy with it. I'm surprised it looks so good in print.
The one you see above isn't the final, but close. It's real nice.
Can you believe they paid $440 for 100 brochures? lol.
they needed them by tomorrow and kinkys was the only one open.
