Website Screen Shot

Some design websites have a thumbnail image of a project they did, it's like a small Screen Shot of the site. How do you do that so the image is relatively sharp.

I know how to do a Screen Shot, but when I reszie it in PhotoShop, it does not look clear or sharp..anyone know?? TY

In Photoshop there's some stuff about thumbnails, I've never tried it as I just doctor mine up after shrinking. Let us know how it works should you accept this mission.

Open PS, Help/Photoshop Help/Index/T/scroll down to thumbnails and click on a number (within brackets) that is in a topic that you think may help you. I would suggest "saving", but I'd take a quick run through them all.

Y/W. Really though, let me know how well it works if you try it, because I honestly haven't used it before.

Here is a quick primer on shrinking images using IMAGE>IMAGE SIZE and selecting your values along with the resample type.

The first line is just a straight shrink with each thumb representing a seperate sample type.

Line 2 is the same as line 1 except with one hit from the Sharpen filter.

Line 3 is the same as line 1 except with a hit with the Unsharpen Mask filter and their values.

Theres not really anything you do unless you take a screenshot the actual brand logo or identity and then put that in the thumbnail as 100% true image.

I personally feel looking at a thumbnail its not giving a good perception what of website it is or looks like.
