Help with logo revamp - could be paying

Hey everyone,

I have a customer who is making a go at a small business and had a logo put together by a sign company, which in my opinion, is terrible.

If anyone has some time and would like to take a go at revamping this logo that would be fantastic.

This *could* be a paying job based on the customers feedback. How much? I am not sure yet.

We live in a very mountainous area right on a very beautiful lake in the "Interior" of British Columbia (hence the Interior in the name). As the logo states they provide home watch services. (ie; you go on vacation and your insurance requires you to have someone check the house every 3 days, so you hire them).

We want clean and clear. Simple and professional. But unique too with some kind of basic illustration whether it be a house (done too much), a simple mountainous backdrop or whatever your creative juices spew out (not just the usual "INTERIOR HOME WATCH" in some semi-professional font).

The logo is attached. Please let me know your thoughts and feedback.

Coming from a professional standpoint, i see nothing wrong with that logo. It suits what the business is about. If you really think you need a revamp, please PM me.

Also coming from a professional standpoint, I see a lot of things wrong with the logo.

The logo has absolutely no "wow" factor to it and is flat, boring but busy, unoriginal and would be nearly impossible to read if it was smaller at a decent distance.
