I need a comic-type character made...to use in some media to represent a line of articles...

No offense to anyone here; but unless you're looking at someone who just wants practice etc or is crap, custom artwork is not that cheap. Takes time.

I do 3d character art but making low poly faces and skinning them is possibly the hardest thing you could ever imagine making hahah.

From the way I read that, he isn't saying that no one is good enough, it's more along the lines of if they are good enough, they are not going to do it for nothing... and if they will do it for nothing, then it's probably = to what you paid for...
that's the way most of the graphic world is... you get what you pay for.

well i'm off to do it myself...I didn't have the $$$ for Fusion or if anyone else thought of helping me out, no $$$ to dish out...
sorry about the no cash flow on my end to the potentials out there..
i suppose if anyone out there just randomly helps people out, PM me.
