Give me idea's

I've been playing with this site and hopefully I'll have it going in a few months. The biggest problem I have is making a logo that fits the site.

This is what I have so far. I like it. Does anybody have a different idea?

First I would try it on a light background (like white). Stick with 2 colors ideally.

Also you need to think of a good symbol to make up the logo. It depends what you want to emphasize. Do you want to emphasize swap or network or maybe banner (the first 2 would be my choice).

I understand what you are saying what was going through my head was: "I have no clue what item/picture/artwork I can ad that would represent this site." "So make the name stand out"

There is no back ground, it was just placed there so you could see it better. The name is it totally. I first started with the 3 basic colors but to me the blue was too dark. So I lighting it up. The yellow (to me) is too light on white.

I may have to go a total different direction. I'm just lost on what to do. So I'm asking for ideas. Maybe a joke could spark an idea. Who knows.

(I'm not happy with the web site, but I really don't want the "blog site" look)

the colors you used on the font doesn't look good together... try putting some effects on the font to emphasize it more clearly... a shadow for example, or an outline maybe...

you could try making it a little glossy too...
