Imageready CS3?

Hey

i know i used to use combination of photoshop and imageready to make simple animations

but no the CS 3 has come and i was wondering, what do you now use for making animations?

i really need some tool, that will enable me to make simple fade transition effects without having to know how to use flash...

thank you

imageready and photoshop are "all in one" in CS3 - you can do it now without having to swap back and forth

Adobe CS3 has discontinued Imageready actually. While it still allows animation & export, it is NOT imageready anymore.

Adobe Official site on what PS3 comes with now: http://kb.adobe.com/selfservice/view...0899&sliceId=1

Adobe Blog about migrating from the PS2 imageready to PS3: http://blogs.adobe.com/jnack/2007/05...ce_on_mig.html

Adobe Forums help with Animating in PS3 without imageready: http://www.adobeforums.com/webx/.3c05d5a6

Adobe got rid of ImageReady for CS3 in hopes that it would make a better inhouse product for them (Overall) with an integrated animation system. They seem to also be pushing more people to the Flash product for animation needs. Gotta Love the corporate mind set

CS3 is great however, like scorpio said, it has some functions that are not available.
So even though its less time consuming, it still wont help the way a profesional would need it too. So it takes you back to square 1.
