Need sales partners .. a great product
Hi,
I have developed a huge product based on Joomla. The competition in this niche is very less, so, sales can happen pretty easily.
Im a web developer and designer, so the entire sales page, members area and the entire product has been developed by me and is quite lucrative. Moreover, as the price is low, so lots of people will be buying this.
You can check out the site : http://readymadejoomla.com
I am in need of some sales partners who will help me publicize the product and I shall be offering them $15 per sale. (which can multiply to a huge number, because the number of sales will be large). The product is priced at a measly $25, so you can expect lots of referrals.
I would love some suggestions and your views on the product.
Thanks

I shall be adding more banners and promotional tools for my affiliates soon. Moreover, ill be increasing the commissions to $25 in a few days. So, that means, you'll be earning more money per sale that you refer.

Hello Ritoban,
Have you done competitive keyword research? If so, who exactly is your target market and how narrow is your niche in terms of actual numbers?
Best,
Yosha

excellent question!
I had thought over all this before making the product. The best part about this is that there is no serious competition, but the niche is big. (hard to find such a thing nowadays).
The keywords are joomla, joomla templates, joomla tutorials.. and similar.
If you do a google search : http://www.google.com/search?q=joomla
You will find hardly 1 or 2 sponsored links. So, adwords publicity will be inexpensive and will generate top-of-the-list results.
As Joomla, is used by over a hundred thousand people regularly, so you can expect a lot of such search queries and sales.
Mine is a unique product and has a lot of potential for selling.
My estimate is that : out of every 10 people who use joomla, 7 will love the concept of the product and 1 or 2 will buy.
We need to target the joomla audience directly.
Any more question?

Moreover, i have increased the affiliate payout now.. for each sale, you'll be awarded $25 .. Our current conversion rate is 2-3%
Lets do the math here.
you can send 100 visitors our way everyday, can't you? 100 is a very tiny number.
If you send 100 targeted visitors everyday and we have 3% conversion.
Therefore, you make $75 each day(Just for sending 100 visitors??)
That makes it, $2250.00 each month, JUST for sending a measly 100 visitors.
Moreover, we have launched a clickbank portion of the site as well. So, if you're on clickbank, then this is the product to promote..
Ask me questions.. Ill answer them all

Hey Freelikehell,
There exist over 100,000,000 competing web sites for the search term "Joomla" Your 1rst and preferred keyword. Within the Google top 10 natural search results, in fact the most preferred positions on page 1 of Google include destinations for "Joomla templates" Your 2nd preferred keyword. You shouldn't take for granted that a person who is likely to buy what you are selling is satisfied at least 80% of the time on page 1 natural Google results. You indicate "We need to target the joomla audience directly" Google and all other major search engines currently satisfy this target!
Studies have demonstrated that Google users prefer natural results in excess of 70% of the time, and that 80% of all Google users NEVER search beyond page 1 for their needs.
Jupiter Research Accordingly if you or your affiliates are "sponsored" advertisers you could be losing out on 70% of your potential market share.
Unless I'm missing a huge distinction within how your Joomla templates provide a potential customer with a solution that none of the other naturally indexed websites offer for your same keywords; I would take a more conservative view of your projections. You indicate that your current conversion rate (I'll presume that means sales) is at 2-3%, but what exactly are you doing to achieve that conversion rate?
I applaud your enthusiasm yet I would personally revisit the math, just to add another layer of authentic mathematic due diligence.
Just my 2 cents and Best Regards,
Yosha

Well said Yosha,
I told you, the niche is big. But the 'competition' (from other advertisers on adwords) is very less. Therefore, advertising on adwords will cost less and will yield top 3 spots.
There are many keywords on which my site has started scoring on 'natural' results. Go to the following pages and for the site : http://readymadejoomla.com :
http://www.google.nl/search?hl=nl&q=...G=Zoeken&meta=
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q...&start=10&sa=N
http://www.google.mn/search?hl=mn&q=...B0%D0%B9%D1%85
http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en...20joomla&meta=
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q...rce%20template
http://www.google.com.my/search?hl=e...cr%3DcountryMY
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&r...ng&btnG=Search
http://www.google.it/search?hl=it&cl...&start=20&sa=N
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&c...0sites&spell=1
These are only some of the keywords for which the site is showing on the front page. I got this through my visitors stats tracking. This shall give you an idea that the site scores on organic results as well.
The best part about the product is that its a UNIQUE concept. Never has anyone ever created 'readymade joomla websites', which can be installed in a minute and you get a fully developed website in no time. If you know joomla, then you would understand this : All templates, components, modules etc are pre-installed and pre-configured for live usage. And we've also created different types of sites, like : community site, information site, business site, personal site etc... Another unique thing about the product is that its currently the biggest joomla product online till date.. Does this answer your question related to "product uniqueness and significance" ?
Yes, the sales conversions currently stand at 2-3% ..
Let me know your thoughts on this

Hello Freelikehell,
So I can follow your train of thought better, please answer the following that I presented in my last posting: (I'll presume that means sales) is at 2-3%, but what exactly are you doing to achieve that conversion rate?
My concern Ritoban is not the lack of significance or uniqueness of your great product, which appears to be desirable as you explained to me the distinction in detail..thanks, now I understand. My concern is that you are discounting the existing 'competition' within this market sector.
As I indicated previously, there exist over 100,000,000 competing websites for your preferred keywords, or what you define as "a big niche with low competition". There is perhaps a reason why the adwords space is cheap and the top 'sponsored' positioning available. If your intended Niche is big but your competition is low, that is one thing. If your niche is big and your competition is low yet the perceived solution is readily available on page 1 Google under your preferred keywords (which it is) then what you really have is NOT a niche, it is a subniche.
Setting aside the prior facts that I presented to you regarding a Google surfers propensity to prefer natural listings instead of 'sponsored listings', I think you may be overestimating your affiliate market (earning) position based on what you've expressed here.
Finally, what is the metric by which you attribute the following statement: "Another unique thing about the product is that its currently the biggest joomla product online till date.."
Ritoban, I'm not trying to be a killjoy, I'm trying to better understand your position and perhaps offer meaningful feedback.
To your success,
Yosha
