Help with D.O Billing Issue

I was not completely sure where this would go, so feel free to move it if I put it in the wrong section.

OK, so my husband is a part of the game Dark Orbit. It's a free game, all you pay for are pre-paid premium services if you want them. Once the time runs out that's it, it goes back to the regular free game without those services any longer, unless you order an extension.

Well, I look in my bank account tonight, and it's overdrawn, from 2 payments from Dark Orbit. Both incurred an $18 charge, and one of those charges was for an added fee they charged separately for $0.24!

My husband was shocked because he removed all credit card information 3 months ago (3 months!), and the information when we checked was not on the account. He also did not order any further extensions for premium services. And keep in mind, this is not a subscription, this is just a prepaid service that runs out at the end of the paid time.

So, I have contacted them and my bank, but can't expect to hear back for awhile (It is 6:45 PM here, and DO is in Germany). My question is, how did they bill this when there was nothing to bill and no account information? Are they legally obligated to pay it back, and is there a likely chance of my bank refunding the over draft charges since this was so obviously not own fault?

I am now negative almost $100.00 from these guys, and they had no reason to charge me!
