Regarding your question...i guess you can start on your own name....very few will have problems with your age.

Secondly, that's really great going from all you young guys........I am 27 and still not making what i really want to.

Hats off to all of you...

@Charles S, At fourteen you are already making money with adsense and you even know the size units that produce a good CTR. When i was your age, i only watched my elder brother getting angry with his laptop the days he feels he did'nt get a good number of visitors to his site. I wish i had started at that time, who knows how high my site would have been ranking in search engines right now.

I've had good influences, and I've had bad influences. I'd rather follow the good ones. I don't see how age is an important value - I see it as more of an estimate of how much time you've got left to live. There's no reason why I can't start now.

I dont think you will run into much issues if you lie a little bit.

Unless you make over 3,000 dollars you dont have to pay taxes on that business in the US (assuming your in the US)

So until you hit the 3k mark you are probably safe.

In NZ, my first year... I ignored taxes. I only earnt around $100 NZD. Bad move. I later calculated that I would have incurred penalties 10x that - I sweet-talked IRD into letting me off, on the condition that I would never evade tax again (which I haven't, and never will).

Most company dont actually report affiliate earnings to be honest. I think only bigger ones do like Google for adsense and such.

Do you really want to take the chance? They have your name, address and social insurance number (or what ever it's called in your country) and will be writting off the expense of paying you as a cost of doing business.

You never know when the company might be audited by the tax dept.
