Creating a website name, legal issues? Read...

Okay guys I will use this as an example. Say there is a site that sells this one seo tool, say the tool is called seo dominator. Okay, now say I know there will be a future release in the future, say SEO DOMINATOR 4, would I be allowed to create a website called seo dominator 4, or would I have to put review in there or something? The main point of this is that I want to do something similar but have it as a review page...

So the question is just put review somewhere in there, or just make the domain with the number in it. Cheers and thanks!

yup you are good to go..would be funny if you then went out a trademarked those names then when the other guy gets to try to use that name then he'd be infringing on your copyrights..lol.

What if the company is called 'Friendly Game Inc' (just for example) and they a huge sports media company. So their company name is trademarked and products, "Friendly Game." But you get "FriendlyTennis, com" or say "FriendlyWorld, com" do something similar, you want to write about sports and what to pick the best domain to get the most traffic, but not with any copyright violations of course.
Would "FriendlyTennis" .com be a trademark violation? or "FriendlyWorld.com" Could they be sued? It is smarter to keep away from any 'friendly" domains?
