issues with game review blog?

i am planning to start a blog about games where i plan to rate and review some of ps3 and pc games which i played. The reviews and ratings will be given by me only and not by website visitors.

* i am planning to publish screenshots and some gameplay video in the blog.
* i am planning to put adsense in the blog.

What worries me is the game publishers would come after me for copyrights and issue DMCA takedown.

is there anything i should be aware of of running such game related sites? what legal issues would i face?

if its a review only then you shouldent have a problem, i read into the legal of this a while ago, for the best result you need to go about getting a press pass, and depending on how wide a market and success you are in, will see if your taken seriously and be sent demos and games etc to review, but the chances of getting a press pass for those purposes are difficult unless you have certain cradentials, and if your trying this out of the blue, and never done a creative writing course, or even worked for a magazine or paper, or work for any with reputable connections then the chances are not good

I was loaned a press pass about three years ago, and personally is somthing that you really need to do a proper review site

I believe it'll be okay, it's just like buying a product and making a review based on your experience A lot of blogger do that even with Google Adsense on their blogs.

may be this caused the problem of Copyright Act also. but with the Review there is no problem with that.

your fine. many people do this. even when you get big most likely the company will WANT you to review their game
