Need legal help

[Seeking brothers]

What am I doing wrong? When I try to hire an out-state attorney (Virginia). I get the run-around.
I need a Virginia attorney to aid me in opening-up my sealed birth document.

• What is the legal process for this transaction?

• How do I find a decent Virginia Attorney?

• I have been trying to hire an attorney that also so happens aids in adoptions. Is this a bad choice (conflict of interest)?

• Should I hire an attorney from Illinois to represent me as a liaison between me and the Virginia attorney?

• Is there any other legal hurdles I may need to fight through to finally discover who my real parent are?

I now reside in Illinois and I've informed the two previous attorneys I have contacted in the past that I will fly out to Virginia if need be to make the arrangements (retainer fee, sign for authorization, and whatever else).
The first attorney said she would help yet never returned my telephone calls and used the excuse that she needed to find-out how to legally obtain the information (this baloney went on for months I'm sorry to say).
The next attorney informed me to remit to him a $750.00 retainer fee along with medical documents that will indicate the reason for me to need to find-out (my God given right) who my birth parent are.
The physician who is wonderfully helpful enough to comply has asked for legal direction as to how this document (letter to the court) should be written. This attorney copped an attitude when I asked for guidance for this dilemma and informed me the physician needs to contact him (attorney). Physician claims (understandably) he should be contacted by the attorney.
I wonder if these attorneys realize how emotionally draining it is when games are being played when one is trying to find-out who their birth parents are?
