Question About bad competitors that do copywrite infringement

Hi I need you guys opinion on this. I am selling products that I create. I am selling online successfully 5 years now but with a lot of effort-knowledge and hard work.

I am advertising my website a lot every single day to have constant income.

With the advertising (adwords- google display - facebook) I generate searches on my brand name, and here comes the bad competitors who are giving low price and copy my products for cheaper (of course most of them do not get as much traffic as I do)

What would you do or what should I do based on your experience?

Anyway thank you for reading my post.

For this question, you are most certainly going to get all sorts of fluffy replies here, so beware.

But - if it were me, and it was affecting my bottom line, or just pisses me off because someone is trying to piggy back off my own hard work, I'd consult with a lawyer specialized in Internet law.

They would know exactly what to do. That may not be what you wanted to hear, but it would be my best advice.

Contact who? You mean a lawyer specializing in Internet issues? I've only met one and haven't had reason to deal with one (knock on wood). For that reason, you'd be better off searching for someone local, that you can have face time with. Usually they'll give you 20 minutes or so free to sit and at least discuss the issue to see if it's within their wheelhouse or not. Once you have some names though, search their reviews or reputation before shelling out any $.

Unless you've patented the products you're selling there's really not much you can do. Even if you do hire a lawyer the cost of the lawsuit will far exceed the benefit you get from it.

Are they making exact copies of your products? Or are they just making something similar?
