Copyright Infringement - My Mom's Phd Work being Sold

I need your advise. My Mom Have done Phd In Chemistry. I was searching her name on net and i found a site selling her work(thesis), After asking her, she said that she never sold her thesis.

Wat Can be done now.

Who on Earth buys someone elses thesis? Most graduate thesis and dissertations go through peer review and are often cross-checked against databases of previously published papers.

I would do as John has said and file a DMCA take down order, and then follow through with further legal recourse. If I'm not mistaken, your mother technically holds a copyright for the work at the moment of creation, if she can prove she wrote it first.

yeah i say that you should try to take legal action and make some money off them, as long as you have some evidence that you can back yourself up with

I find it hard to believe the INIST would sell a 'stolen' PhD like that.

well, I must say that anything is possible. I would have it taken down and send a letter from her lawyer indicating legal trouble. Most people get scared and will back down.
