Not linking to private info -- is it still private?

If I create a page that has private information on it (e.g., phone numbers, e-mail addresses), but I don't create a link from it from the website, can spiders and other people still find it?

I want to be able to distribute a newsletter via the web to our group members by giving them a link to the newsletter, but it would have private contact information on it. I don't want non-members to access the newsletter. Is that possible, or would spiders, search engines, others be able to find it even though I don't create a link to it?

This might work but I wouldn't know for sure if it would make that page secure from bots necessarily. It could be picked up some otherway. *shrug* What works for one search engine might not work for another so althought you might be secured from google, theres also ask, yahoo and msn to contend with.
