okay everyone I need a little help in this forum, i think the answers should be a sticky as there is not one at the top of this forum

when buying does that mean you are paid to put the links on your site?

when selling does that mean you are paying someone to put your links on their site?

i'm guessing PR is page rank, how do you find out what your page rank is and what search engines are they referring to?

maybe i don't correctly understand what page rank is and where you can find it.

To see the pr of any site...u jus need to download google toolbar and there the green bar tht u see indicates the pr of tht particular page.

buying means paying to put link on other's website
and selling means getting paid to put a link on our website

thank you very much seo52 for those were the questions i needed answers to the most. that helps very much. build thats the lazy way of answering in my opinion. i have looked it up and it left me slightly confused.

Also, if you want to get technical, and catch some webmasters who use redirects and scripts to cloak and show fake PR in the toolbar, you'll have to use a 'valid PR page' in order to cross check the pr with more than just one Google data center (which is what you are shown in the Google toolbar).

There are a few scripts around that will replace the PR of any given page with that of another page.
