Offline Marketing VS Online Marketing
If you had a medium-sized business that sells certain products to many countries globally.
Would you choose offline marketing or online marketing, IF you only had one choice? and Why?

I prefer online marketing because most people search on the net for specific detail on a certain product without going to the store....

Can I do both? If I can do both, then I'll choose both. There's no harm in trying to advertise on both sides right? All possible strategies that I can do just to hit a conversion, whether if it's online or offline marketing, I'll take it...

i would choose online marketing cause it is a more effective and easy way to promote a product, you just have to know the right things to do how to market your product and as you said you are targeting globally and internet is accessible globally so you have a better chance of converting, while offline marketing is also ok but eats up a lot of your time and it won't guarantee that you can target globally, giving out leaflets, business cards, word of the mouth, and friends won't broaden your marketing promotion if you ask me. but doing both of them won't hurt double the effort double the chance of converting.

Online is preferable if you are dealing with the companies globally. I'll consider the offline marketing according to the product.

I don't really see how one would be able to do offline marketing globally without spending a fortune, but then again, doing such may have a better visibility than online marketing. the competition in advertisements from the Television is less than the competition that your product could get in search engines. it is still a hard decision. if I had the money, I would do offline marketing.

I voted Online Marketing but the best way to gain maximum conversions is doing both. Of course they have their pros and cons, but if you want to be successful, you should try every trick you know.

I am now managing a millionaire dating site and would like to say something on your question....
You are asking an acute question! I am greedy like all businessmen! hahahaha, I will choose both, that is why I am her v7n. Offline marketing is fully based on
great user experience. We will never give it up as the leading site in its field.
The online marketing, now I choose you all. I know lots of you are good at marketing. So, if you are interested in this work-at-home business and have your own
dating brand at no cost, PM me. Or contact me vickimm2008 at gmail dot com. I promise it is at no cost.

In order to provide a holistic answer you would have to be more specific regarding exactly what product the medium sized business is selling. Perhaps it's a product which can only be developed into a success locally FIRST before having global expansion capability like Sam Walton's "Walmart" now also available globally as Walmart.com. (Online)
Dick and Mac McDonald had to initially succeed locally (Offline) before Ray Kroc established the current MacDonald business model which is a recognized symbol for globalization and maintaining a commercial presence in over 100 countries worldwide with over 40 million daily customers.
"If you had a medium-sized business that sells certain products to many countries globally. Would you choose offline marketing or online marketing, IF you only had one choice? and Why?"
Recognizing that a medium-sized business, that already sells globally is not a startup, having awareness of the product or service is still required since many medium sized businesses require "business model redesigns" in order to achieve their optimal potential within a global marketplace.
Yosha,
"After a certain point, money is meaningless. It ceases to be the goal. The game is what counts."

Online marketing of course. These days especially it's the most cost effective method. PPC is #1 for now. Is quick and effective. Other methods take much longer to bring targeted and converting traffic.

I would go for Online-Marketing! Especially in these tough economic times, since it can be much cheaper if you do it right.
The most important thing of course is having an effective, branded website. And I was really surprised that it is is not even that expensive anymore to get it professionally done.
There are companies that are giving payment options of $10 a day for the development of a professional branded website (and not the one-size-fits all type!), like insomnia.net.au.
Marketers that have benefited from the buoyant economic climate over the last few years should be looking to give back to small to medium sized businesses that are struggling and providing services that may be integral to keeping them afloat. Now even though they won’t make any money out of it doing it this way as an interest free payment plan for quite some time, they know that the market needs alternatives. Cutting the cost of marketing for the small-to-medium sized market is critical to helping them stay in business. Many sme’s don’t have marketing managers so now is the time for the fat pay checked marketers to give back.

online marketing. Higher degree of leverage.
The more you leverage, the more freedom you have. Agree?
