I have tried everything to increase sales, from advertsing, submitting it to search engines, etc,
I really need to increase sales!!! I am losing more then making!

I am starting to lose HOPE!

I feel like a failure, Trying to get this that i really need,and it is not working what so ever!

I dont know what to do!

Your site is still very new though isn't it - no page rank yet either. Build link exchanges with other sites, keep working at it. It all does time to get an established site that sells.

Basically - This link talks about guerilla marketing - spending more time and effort on marketing than money. The point I made at the bottom was I got people to my web site by being different, by doing things other people don't do.

Now if I was running a web site selling sneakers what would I do?
Firstly, what makes your web site and service better than your competitiors? What I mean is, why are people going to buy from you rather than soemone else? What do you offer that is better? What service do you provide that your competitiors don't?

I don't know where you have tried marketing so far, but your target audience would be say male/13-30/worldwide? This is the market where the money is! But what else do these guys like? Women, have you tried promoting on sites where there are pictures of women? Even better - make a small image gallery and promote that! Have your advertising for your sneaker site on the image gallery - its a direct link.

OK - now everyone here knows I run a site with women on it - so lets take sports, have you been and made posts on sports forums? euro 2004 is almost over - but this would have been ideal - you should have got yourself known around sites that were discussing this / maybe wrote some write ups of the matches and submitted them to sports sites, they normally allow a link with any article published.

There are a million and one places to advertise, establish what you do thats better than everyone else and tell the world about it.

Oh - an I almost forgot - the olympics is comming soon - exploit it!

get some images of some shoes on the homepage towards the top. the top right of the white content area would be a good place as you introduce the company.

instead of having just text links with the models try image links. i'd say most people wouldnt know the difference so give them some idea. but do leave the text link there under the images for spiders.

i noticed the whole site passes through index.php which fetches the content. search engines do not like the variable URLs (the ?s) so make them more "friendly" and informative to gain higher SERPs. to do this look into .htaccess and the rewrite rule.

I've been in your shoes (sneackers ). Had trafic did not have sales.

Here is couple things.
1. Unless i do not understand something in sneakers you have selected bad categories. Jordan 1, Jordan 2....
Nobody is looking for it. If you want people to be able to find model number just add simple search to the site. And categorize them as Running sneakers, Tennis Sneakers, ....

2. Small Picture and no description. Make a page where i could see bigger picture and specification of the sneakers. Like leather or not, does it have air cushions or not, ....

3. The home page does not have a single picture of the sneakers. (It has but I, with my big monitor, had to scroll) Add "Hot Items" on your right. Or "Sale Items"

4. Move Free Shipping UP. People just do not see it.

5. Tracking menu leads to the geocite with an ugly page. Keep everything on one site..

6. On Contact US. Move Aim to the end. Have email address and real address. Also make email real. Like customer@newsneaker.com not some aol address.

7. And of course start accepting real credit cards. Not much people have or use PayPal.

Just checked your site out and m8, got a question to ask..

I'm assuming you are aware of the whole 'Trainer collection ' seen in the UK and across the globe?

People over here in the UK search every where for rare trainers (especially Jordan's) and pay ridicules amounts of money for issues 1,2 etc..

There are shops over here which sell re-issued models, but they can ask almost double of what you charge.. (check our the price on Jordan 1, 2's on e-bay).. and they sell like hot cakes.. straight away.

I don't know how old you are, but im sure that you are aware that your product range is highly sort after by the 'Hip Hop' community worldwide.(people into rap music for all you oldies.. )

Surely these should be a major target for you in your marketing efforts?

Forum for people from all over the world who are into 'Breakdancing'.

Breakdancing = street fashion = trainers (most important bit of kit )
Join their forum, find out who runs it and ask him what it would cost to have a small banner on his homepage.. don't forget breakdance, hip hop, rare trainer forums, are run by people who are simply into the 'seen' so its not going to cost you much to advertise your site in there and it could bring in quite a lot of business from its members..

Better still, find out who runs these forums and offer them a couple of pairs of trainers in exchange for the banner!!

Guaranteed that when he receives his fresh new sneakers (on time) he'll be posting in the forum to his members/FRIENDS, showing off his new trainers and telling them where he got them from.. then introduce yourself to everyone..

Its not un-common for trainer collectors to have around 20, 30, 40 + pairs of Nikes, Puma's and Addidas..

That's 1 person.. how do you think your sales would go if you found a forum for such people with 300, 400, 500 members??

In the UK many 'Hip hop' nights are sponsored by 'trendy'clothing shops.
I don't mean that these shops pay for everything, it may be that they contribute money towards the artist/s playing at the club i.e DJ's etc

But their shop/website is then printed on all the tickets sold for the evening.. Your target market..

I'm sorry to go on about all this, but Hip Hop/Rap is a multi million dollar business worldwide.. and the street fashion side of it is almost as important as the music to most people into it.. find them

Its quite difficult to explain in this forum how sort after your product is m8..

A good pair of original Jordan issue 1's can sell in shops in London for over £200 ($36

If you have not already got an affiliate program on your site, why don't you do some sort of affiliate program where others can join and help you sell your products where they will then earn a percentage of your profits in return for their work.

Affiliates with traffic look for sites that have a high value per visitor. If your site doesn't convert (sell) well, they will look elsewhere.

Affiliates without traffic ... well not much point in that -- unless your favorite food is ramen noodles.

IOW: fix your sales process before you get distracted by an affiliate program.
