1. Publish unique articles on niche targeted websites. You can find many of these websites by doing an online search. You will be surprised by how many websites will accept article submissions. With heavier traffic sites it may be more difficult to get published and may take more time, but it is worth it to contact the site owner and ask about getting an article published.

I am not sure about your point 7 since the google bot consideres that duplicate content or something like that. Of course I could be wrong. Good post alot of good ideas.

It would be considered duplicate content if he posted the same article twice on his own website. Or, if the majority of the content was the same.

Heck, I post the article first on my web site, then to Ezines. Wait a week or so then submit to as many article directories that I can.

I think this should be a little bit more specific because an article as we all know usually have at least 500 words. How can you post that in forums? I think what you mean here is more on the URL of the published article and not the article itself. Just making sure though and thanks for the effort to give these tips here for us to see.

Sure, there are tons of them.
Just google article submitter. I got a few free ones included with PLR stuff but never use them. I'm always worried that the directory might change something and I won't catch it with the submitter.

I usually submit to the top ezine sites such as ezinearticles.com and goarticles.com. Usually just submitting to the top 5-10 of these sites will do for me because it will generate most of the readership and traffic.

If only I have the time, I will submit to the rest of the other article sites.

Article submission is one of the best ways to get targeted traffic. I personally submit my articles to top 10 high PR article directories, and the results are quit ok. Article submission also help us get some relevant links.
