ebay advice

I'm about to sell computer parts on ebay, it's going to be my first time.
what payment method should i use? paypal?
How can I make sure that the buyer will pay?
Any advice?

You can use any payment method as you please, all you have to do is research on them. See what makes it more secure for money transfers, or which method gives you or your buyer more ease.

for ebay the best one to use is paypal

but there many others google checkout,

alertpay, safepay, 2checkout etc

There is NO way to make sure that your customer will follow-through with their bids. Seriously - this is quite infuriating. I really believe Ebay should just hold a credit card retained for each account and deduct the amount automatically. There's NO way to punish someone for not paying! You can't even leave negative feedback anymore for buyers. It's just an absurd practice. You basically have you HOPE that the buyer pays.

In my experience though, 99% of the buyers will follow through with their payments. The 1% is the one that makes you grind you teeth though.

It's quite hard to trust people in the virtual world..
