Shipping
I'm always asking strangers whether or not they shop online, and if not, why?
One common complaint is the shipping costs. So, I'm thinking a lot of ecommerce sites could benefit by offering "Free Shipping", and absorbing the cost in the product price.

Trust is a big issue on the Internet. I often visit sites and wonder, "Is this a real company, or just some kid in Russia running a scam?"

Huh. It's a tough issue. I think a good buyer protection program is needed...

This would work. I am a sucker for "Free Shipping", even if the price is a little more to make up for it. I guess there is something appealing about getting something "free". Even if it is not really free.

Yeah me too, but if there's something i really want to buy from a site with shipping charges, I often get a few more things that I could have got cheaper elsewhere, which somehow makes the shipping cost seem OK!!! (I don't add things I wasn't already looking for btw, I'm not that stupid!)

I do that too - add on more items to "dilute" the shipping costs.
