Unhappy Traffic reducing each day drastically

Hi all,

I used to get around 15000 pages impression each day but for the last one week traffic has reduced drastically. the figure is like:

Day 1: 15k
Day2: 13k
Day3: 10k
Day4: 8k
Day5: 7k
Day6: 5k
Day7: 4k

if this goes on this i would be dead soon. This blog, [url removed] is about 2.5 years old, and was growing steadly. but now it seems as someone is nibbling it and will devour it soon. I update it daily.

What all did i try:

1. google picking up some pages but not all as it was before

Can some one help.

Thanks
Rsiddhu

What does your visitor tracking tell you about the difference in traffic? Did Yahoo and MSN stay the same while Google took a dive? Are there particular search terms where you no longer show up? Has someone reported your blog to Google (rightly or wrongly)? Knowing the answers to these sorts of questions may help you diagnose the problem.

Each day traffic is reducing from Google but share of other search engine is more or less same. It seems that Google is not crawling all my pages. In fact it is not crawling some of my new entries. What could be reason? Havent received any notification from Google on the same. How to know that someone bugged me to google. Suggest.

Ouch! That really hurts... Have you checked your keyword's rankings? They might be falling in SEs that's why you're drastically loosing traffic. Have you stopped link building? How about your new posts, are they related to your blog and has keywords on them? I suggest bookmaking your new posts to digg and stumble upon. And check your targeted keywords, they may have high search volumes when you first researched for them and possibly has low search volume now.

Loosing that much traffic more than likely is the result of an algo update perhaps mess around with some diffrent marketing mediums and see if you can tell a diffrence. Perhaps you should try and adjust any on blog seo you may have done or not done. If you have not made any major changes than more than likely it is search engine side rather than on you.

Try to get as many quality backlinks as you can. Even if you need, then do spend money on getting paid links.

Try to find out the bounce rate of your website and also find out where most people leave your blog. Which page they are getting annoyed from and leaving your blog.
