You should try email marketing and there are huge list of software to do that. You just want to select the best among them.

Well, there are few steps you need to learn for email marketing:

1.) build a landing page or optin form on your site
2.) give them something valuable away around your niche to your site visitors so that they
will surrender their email address and name in return for your gift
3.) send them a welcome letter using your autoresponder services
4.) follow up with them constantly for newsletter, products promotions or anything that can help them to solve their problems

Software-wise the best are Aweber (you pay monthly, the service is managed) and Interspire Email Marketer (if you want to host your own software).

I'd choose Aweber - they're trusted by most major email providers (Gmail, Yahoo, Hotmail, etc.), so you'll get more emails to their recipients.

You'll also not have to deal with spam complaints (which happen a lot even when you get legitimate subscriptions using a form on your site and double opt-in. That's because a lot of people just click the "Spam" button on every email they don't like.
