Sending an email update to a mailing list

What is the most effective name to use when sending an email update to your mailing list?I'm asking about the sender's name that people would see in their mailbox. You can use:

-Your full name
-Your company or website's name
-Something like "Marketing tips" where you replace marketing with your niche.

I'm asking this question, because I've got some people in my mailing list about a month ago,but I havent emailed them since then. And now I'm going to send them an update.I want to make sure that they check the email and dont delete it thinking its spam.
thanks!

IMO, sending marketing emails is a personalised thing.

All my marketing emails come from my company name (as a sender) and are signed with my name and contact details below.

I also include a Hi {FirstName}, as a starting point (the first line).

It helps a huge amount with getting around the "Is this SPAM?" question.......

I know its a personalized thing, what I want to know here is which method is the most effective? The reason I came up with this question is that I've been getting a lot of emails that have the company owner's name as the recipient name, and I never opened them though I did opt in myself for them. But then he changed the recipient name to "Marketing tips" and the first time I saw it I immediately opened it.So,which recipient name,in your opinion, would be the most effective/is the most effective?
