To Split or Not to Split?

I've been thinking about this for a while now and I've had a thought that the only way to increase my visits more is to split up my site www.kmaxmedia.com and specialize more. More or less, this will help get me into more sites that cater to the topic and make it easier to get on directories.

Case in point, I'm seriously considering starting a fresh Bodybuilding Media site up here in Ontario which will split up all of the bodybuilding content from kmaxmedia.com to the new site.

The rest of the content may be left on kmaxmedia.com or go on another new site that focusses on entertainment related with new talent. I'm still unsure if I should run a store for each seprate site or if I could centralize it, but I'll worry about that later.

Anyway, onto my question. Right now, I'm averaging between 300-500 unique visits a day and 100,000 - 125,000 page views a month.

So should I split the site ASAP or should I continue to build up traffic more before splitting?

What are your thoughts? Feel free to take a look at the site.

I think that it does make since to split the two sites up into more specific content, in return you will provide more targeted user experience to the user.
