Question Does a Blog need a Facebook Page
I have not done any research yet but does a simple blog need a Facebook page? It is not a blog about products or brands, just on website promotion and optimization.

Personally I use my facebook to let my friends/followers know when I have a new post or any new changes to my website and blogs. I use one facebook profile for all of my websites and blogs the same with twitter. Personally I find twitter not only the easiest way to let people know of an updated blog, but also the most effective.

Are the returns justified by the efforts put towards the Facebook Page? Are you getting visitors from FB?

You could integrate the blog rss feed into your facebook profile page that may generate some traffic.

its useful, however I think its more important to have a facebook link on each blog post for people to easily share your posts on their page.
