Thumbs down Yahoo Using Bing.com's Search Engine??

I heard that Yahoo has or is going to join with MSN ... and are going to start using bing.com for there search results...

I have two question's can anyone verify this or is it just a rumor?

And if this is true.... Great! Does this mean no more having to submit your site to yahoo's directory just to be listed in there search results?

Right now the acquisition is being reviewed. It won't be another 2 years until we'll know for sure whether or not Yahoo is going to merge!

When they do, I'm sure Yahoo will keep it's name (for a while at least.) I would imagine the services (mail, file storage, etc...) will be the first to change to the Microsoft name.

I read a post on 28th of July on a readwriteweb claiming that yahoo and Microsoft were going to announce a deal on 29th. But there was no such deal announced on that day and till now. I guess its just a rumour.

Yahoo already rejected Microsoft's Deal, if Yahoo or Microsoft want to beat Google in Search Engine War they have to come up with each other

Yes, this is true. So far there is no official announcement from Yahoo or Microsoft but the idea is pretty cool of merging with each other. May be one of this company will be benefited.

The deal is being reviewed. If it gets approved, then Yahoo will use Bing's serp results.

I don't think the YPN advertiser will likely to continue with such changes.

It can be true, traditionally Yahoo outsourced its work related the Search engines. now as the algorithms tend to change now and then, Yahoo may have taken help of the upcoming Search engine BING.

It doesnt mean that though it is using the services of bing, yahoo submissions should be stopped, Yahoo has ruled this part of the world and it will not easily get out of the way.
