I would like some advice from my peers on the best method to market my site http://www.templatehomedepot.com . I tried the Google ad program and to be honest I was not impressed. I have read about linking, writing articles and banner exchange but I have no idea where to start. Any insite would be greatly appreciated.

I don't know what kind of experience you are talking about with AdWords, but it takes time to experiment with different ads. Most people make the mistake of not being as explicit about the offering as they should.

You have other good ideas, but where to start and how to do it is something that there is plenty of out there and plenty on this board. You just have to be willing to go out and find it and teach yourself.
