Hi Pimpen,
I was interested to read your article, it is a good subject, I hope you don't mind me making a few comments.
To me it would have made more sense to refer to the 3 operating systems as Windows, Mac OS, and Linux. The reason being that the Mac OS is actualy Unix based also.

there are still problems of freezing up, etc. When using Macintosh OS X operating system, it was found that sometimes the computer would freeze up when using heavy applications such as Adobe After Effects

That isn't really a flaw with the Mac OS, sounds like you based the article on an experience with one Mac, freezing up could be caused by many things the most likely being insufficient ram to run Adobe After Effects, combined with the speed of the Mac.
It would have been good to compare the 3 systems on the usability of each operating system, you mentioned features of Windows such the start menu but failed to mention anything about how Mac and Linux differ to this. Also not sure why you wrote this about Windows-

There is a desktop, where you can place icons for easily opening applications

The way you state this makes it sounds like neither Mac or Linux has this feature, when of course all 3 have.
Sorry if it seems I am being a little harsh, my comments are meant in a constructive manner, It was a great idea to write an article on this, but I think it would need more depth about each respective system to be considered useful.............if I had come to the article not knowing much about either system It would not really have taught me what I wanted to know.
